Ladakh, often called the "Land of High Passes," is a high-altitude cold desert region nestled in the northernmost part of India. Located in the Union Territory of Ladakh, it lies between the towering Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges, making it one of the most dramatic landscapes on Earth.

Known for its stark natural beauty, crystal-clear skies, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and unique culture, Ladakh offers a surreal blend of adventure and spirituality. The region shares its borders with Tibet to the east, Kashmir to the west, and Himachal Pradesh to the south.

Ladakh’s terrain is marked by snow-capped peaks, turquoise lakes like Pangong Tso and Tso Moriri, picturesque villages, and iconic high-altitude motorable passes such as Khardung La and Chang La.
